Welcome the Year of the Earth Pig as Lucky Chinatown\u00a0<\/strong>kicks off the grandest and biggest celebration in the country.\u00a0It’s\u00a0located in the heart of the world\u2019s oldest and the country\u2019s premier Chinatown, Binondo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Running until February 10<\/strong>, the two-week festivity highlights lucky rituals, fabulous cultural presentations, electrifying live performances from the country\u2019s brightest music stars and groups. There will also be a grand fireworks display, and fantastic shopping and dining deals!<\/p>\n

The fun starts with the Prosperity Fair<\/strong> at Lucky Chinatown Atrium,<\/strong> where shoppers can find and shop for lucky charms, Chinese delicacies, and other unique novelty items during the entire event.<\/p>\n

Shoppers can also get all the luck with up to 70% off<\/strong> and other great deals at participating shops and dining establishments at Lucky Chinatown\u2019s Lucky Sale <\/strong>from February 1 to 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And for every Php 2,000 receipt purchase from February 1 to 10<\/strong>, guests can get a Lucky Ang Pao<\/strong>, which contains instant rewards and exciting prizes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, all foodies can go on a satisfying gastronomic trip at the Meisic Street Food Market,<\/strong> and\u00a0indulge in an array of Chinese cuisine until February 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To pay homage for the National Arts Month and enrich the appreciation for Filipino culture, Lucky Chinatown is hosting the National Commission for Culture and the Arts\u2019 (NCCA) Ani ng Sining: The Philippine Arts Festival<\/strong> on February 3<\/strong> at Lucky Chinatown Atrium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The rock jazz group Sud<\/strong>\u00a0will perform their top hits on February 2<\/strong>\u00a0(6 p.m.)<\/strong> at Lucky Chinatown Atrium.\u00a0<\/strong>Taiwanese pop band EggPlantEgg<\/strong>\u00a0will also perform for the very first time in the country, with their top international hits \u201cBack Here Again<\/em>\u201d, \u201cWaves Wandering<\/em>\u201d, and \u201cDear Heartless<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The celebration shifts to a higher gear at Lucky Chinatown\u2019s Chinese New Year Countdown to 2019<\/strong> on February 4<\/strong> with some of the country\u2019s rising artists. Countdown begins at 6 p.m.<\/strong> at the Lucky Chinatown Atrium<\/strong> with rock-solid performances from I Belong to The Zoo<\/strong>, Janine Te\u00f1oso<\/strong>, Bret Jackson<\/strong>, and one of the country\u2019s sought-after stars, James Reid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Further, the party goes on\u00a0at Lucky Chinatown Walk from 9 p.m.<\/strong> until 12 m.n.<\/strong> with performances by This Band<\/strong>, Quest<\/strong>, and KZ Tandingan<\/strong>, who will spearhead the countdown celebration at midnight.<\/p>\n

At exactly 12 m.n.<\/strong>, a grand fireworks display<\/strong> will light up the sky, followed by a special Astrological Forecast segment by master Johnson Chua<\/strong>, where guests can\u00a0learn what\u2019s in store for them this 2019.<\/p>\n

More colorful performances, including the traditional Lion and Dragon Dance<\/strong> and cultural presentations from Chinese schools and Filipino-Chinese organizations, are set to entice guests on Chinese New Year\u2019s Day, February 5<\/strong>, from 9 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0onwards.<\/p>\n

For a better fortune this 2019, guests can take part in the traditional 8 Lucky Rituals<\/strong> located at the Lucky Chinatown Walk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
