Photoworld Asia<\/strong> is back, and the remarkable women of Philippine photography are taking the lead this time!<\/p>\n

The 33rd installment of the annual photography conference organized by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0(FPPF) is split into two parts:\u00a0<\/span>the launch of a photography trade show highlighting the latest products and innovations in the industry in Glorietta Activity Center<\/strong> on January 31<\/strong>; and the international photographers\u2019 conference to be held at AIM Conference Center Manila (ACCM)<\/strong> from February 1 to 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As this year\u2019s theme is empowering women, the speakers will be composed of women photographers who are highly-regarded in their respective fields. <\/span><\/p>\n

RC Sustiguer<\/strong> will kick off the conference with a talk on branding and marketing, which will then be followed by Vivian Valdez\u2019s<\/strong> discussion on mobile phone photography. Geli Blanco<\/strong> will wrap up the first day with a talk on social media publishing.<\/p>\n

The second day of the conference will feature more specialized photographers like Andrea Genota<\/strong> for natural light portraiture, Peachy Hernando<\/strong> for underwater photography, and Rachelle Lobangco<\/strong> for conceptual photography. There\u00a0is also a discussion on empowerment through innovation in the world of print by Lisa Watson<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third and last day will delve more into the experiential aspect of photography with Hannah Morales<\/strong> discussing storytelling through photography, Shaira Luna<\/strong> on fashion and advertising photography, and Jaja Samaniego<\/strong> on the truths of life in photography. Philippine Daily Inquirer Photojournalist Joan Bondoc<\/strong> will also\u00a0impart her knowledge and experiences to the attendees on February 3rd. <\/span><\/p>\n

Admission to the photography trade show at Glorietta Activity Center is free<\/strong>, but the three-day conference at ACCM is priced at Php 5,000<\/strong>. Those who are interested to attend the conference may register here<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0Senior citizens, students, and women delegates are entitled to a 10% discount<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
