The class will be facilitated by an eight-time recipient of Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards Dr. Joem Antonio<\/strong>. He has won second prize for The Last Filipino, a full-length play on Apolinario Mabini, and first prize for The Floret Road, a full-length play on Jose Rizal.<\/p>\n He was also recognized as Best Playwright in Short + Sweet Manila 2014 for his entry, Death in Ten Minutes, which also won Best Play and topped the Audience Poll for Week 1.<\/p>\n Antonio is a teacher by profession, a writer on occasion, a scholar by passion, and a writing teacher by vocation.
