Repertory Philippines <\/b><\/strong>is promoting and developing the performing arts for Philippine cultural growth and, as the best-known training ground for actors,\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>they are now opening their\u00a0REP 2018 Summer Workshop,\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>a way for young people to reach their full creative potential and utilize their talents to productive ends.<\/p>\n

<\/b>Engaging children in theater workshops will help them develop their creativity, overcome shyness, and discover the value of pursuing their own passions at an early age. With lots of\u00a0thrilling activities facilitated by the top artists in the industry, the\u00a0Repertory Philippines<\/b><\/strong>\u2019 (REP<\/b><\/strong>)\u00a02018<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Workshop for the Performing Arts’s <\/b><\/strong>second batch will run\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>from\u00a0June 4<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0July 20!<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Kids to Pre-Teens Classes <\/b><\/strong>will start\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>from\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>June 11 <\/b><\/strong>to\u00a0July 17 (Monday – Friday)<\/b><\/strong>, from 11 am to 1 pm\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>at Active Fun, Bonifacio Global City (BGC)<\/b><\/strong>. Meanwhile,\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>for the\u00a0teens and adults,\u00a0you may sign up for the Teens to Adults Classes<\/b><\/strong>. This is open\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>for those aged 13 and up, with classes starting and will happen from\u00a0June 11 <\/b><\/strong>to\u00a0July 18 <\/b><\/strong>(Monday – Friday), 1\u00a0pm\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>to\u00a03\u00a0pm\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>at Active Fun, Bonifacio Global City (BGC)<\/b><\/strong>. For those\u00a0who have a previous workshop or acting experience and would like to pursue a professional career in theater acting, you can join the\u00a0Master Class, <\/b><\/strong>happening from\u00a0June 4\u00a0to\u00a0July 20 (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays),\u00a01\u00a0pm to\u00a04 pm <\/b><\/strong>at the\u00a0REP office in Ecoville Townhomes.<\/p>\n

At the end of the Junior Master Class workshop, participants will join \u201cMy Suite Princess<\/b><\/strong>,\u201d\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>a musical play\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>written by Joel Trinidad<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and Nicky Trivi<\/b><\/strong>\u00f1o,\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>with music by Rony Fortich. <\/b><\/strong>This old-style play will tackle mistaken identity, silly situations, shenanigans, and true love. Join the\u00a0REP 2018 Summer Workshops<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and you might be the next big thing in the theater scene.<\/p>\n
