<\/p>\nSports tournaments are a good way of raising funds for charity, and the U.S. Embassy Club (USEC) Manila looks to take advantage of this once more with their annual one-day charity event next month. The tennis tournament will be on April 7 at Colegio San Agustin Makati and is co-sponsored by the American Women’s Club of the Philippines and the American Association of the Philippines.<\/p>\n

The USEC provides grants local organizations that help Filipino women and children in need. Entry fee is at Php 3,000 per person while non-players may purchase tickets to the Awards Ceremony at Php 2,500 per person. Registration can be done through their website, usembassyclub.com\/tennis-tournament<\/a> until March 31.<\/p>\n Categories will only be for Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles, with players being allowed to select their level of play upon registration. Choose from\u00a03.0, 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5 levels.
