{"id":14027,"date":"2018-02-28T08:14:29","date_gmt":"2018-02-28T00:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/?p=14027"},"modified":"2018-04-18T10:01:43","modified_gmt":"2018-04-18T02:01:43","slug":"ortigas-art-festival-at-capitol-commons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/2018\/02\/28\/ortigas-art-festival-at-capitol-commons\/","title":{"rendered":"Ortigas Art Festival at Capitol Commons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In just a few days, Art Fair Philippines 2018 will open once again at The Link Carpark in Makati City but before you all get excited for that, there&#8217;s an art festival in Capital Commons that deserves your attention:\u00a0<strong>Ortigas Art Festival,\u00a0<\/strong>a month-long celebration\u00a0of local art, happening from February 23 to March 26, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14029\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2018\/02\/Ortigas-Art-Festival-Header.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ortigas Art Festival is happening at Estancia Bridge, Capitol Commons in Ortigas. The festival started\u00a0last February 23 and will run until March 26, 2018. This is the very first Ortigas Art Festival, made possible through the partnerships of\u00a0Allison Wong-David, Helen Mirasol, Peter Sutcliffe, and Eskinita Art Gallery.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit is a mix of collaborations from different groups as well as Filipino individuals. Some solo artists include Arvi Fetalvero, Ged Merino, Richard Buxani, Anthony Victoria, and Bon Mujeres. There will also be free workshops every Sunday for the month of March.<\/p>\n<p>On March 4 and 25, 2018 at 1 pm onwards, you&#8217;ll be able to share paintbrushes and watercolor with Peter Sutcliffe. Ato Habulan will also hold an Alla Prima Painting session on March 11, 2018.\u00a0Interested participants for the free workshops must provide their own art materials.<\/p>\n<p>The best part of this festival is that is\u00a0absolutely\u00a0<strong>FREE<\/strong>.
