The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BBCP) is organizing The Great British Bake Off in celebration of the annual GREAT British Festival, which aims to bring together British food industries and key business stakeholders in the Philippines to highlight British Culture and Food and to promote Trade.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Great British Bake Off is a competition among a group of amateur bakers, attempting to impress the Judges with their baking skills. This is the first of its kind in the Philippines. The competition will take place on the 24th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2018 at the Center for Culinary Arts, Manila, Katipunan, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.<\/p>\n

The competition has two parts, the first challenge is the Technical Bake, wherein the Bakers have to follow a recipe in order to produce the finished product. The Bakers are laid bare in this task and this is where the pressure is on the Bake Off. The second challenge is the Showstopper Bake, where the Bakers are able to showcase their depth of skills and talent. The intricacy of this task calls for a professional standard in taste and appearance.<\/p>\n

The Great British Bake Off is organized by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines in partnership British Embassy Manila, Kenwood and Center for Culinary Arts, Manila.<\/p>\n
