Jun Impas\u2019s most recent works stem from his personal fondness of the festive season while also drawing from his realist interests: to interpret the reality of the Philippine cultural past and present.<\/p>\n<p>For Altro Mondo\u2019s year-ending show, Jun Impas fittingly presents the social and cultural situations during the Christmas season, effectively merging two timelines into one visual output.<\/p>\n<p>Jun Impas is a realist painter who has gained recognition for his highly detailed artworks and he is celebrated for his talent in painting portraits. Since his solo show in 2008, he has been widely commissioned by Philippine Cardinals.
