For 16 years, different filmmakers and lovers will meet.\u00a0Over 20 of the best recent films from Spain and Latin America will be shown.\u00a0 The event is organized by\u00a0Instituto Cervantes (Manila) and a collaboration with\u00a0Embajada de Espa\u00f1a en Filipinas &#8211; AECID and Ayala Museum.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"419\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11020\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/09\/pelicula-2017-spanish-film-festival.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/09\/pelicula-2017-spanish-film-festival.jpg 800w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/09\/pelicula-2017-spanish-film-festival-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/09\/pelicula-2017-spanish-film-festival-768x402.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Instituto Cervantes started this event back in 2002, where traditionally the\u00a0Spanish and Latin American filmmakers were present during the festival. It is said that\u00a0Salvador Calvo\u00a0will fly to Manila to open the Festival with his movie<em>\u00a0<\/em>1898, Los \u00faltimos de Filipinas.
