    Arte Povera: Italian Landscapes Opens on February 10 at the MET Museum @ Metropolitan Museum of Manila
    The Metropolitan Museum of Manila partners with the Embassy of Italy in Manila to open its newest exhibition, Arte Povera: Italian Landscape. The exhibit opens on February 10, 2020 and will run until April 30, 2020. The exhibit curated by Daniel Eccher features artworks of Italian artists during the contemporary art movement Arte Povera. Known as one of the most significant avant-garde movements, artists commonly used pre-industrial age materials including rocks, clothing, paper, and rope. Germano Celant coined the term Arte Povera in 1967.     Experience and appreciate the works of Ludwig Van Beethoven at the Beethoven Festival 2020 happening from February to May at Manila Pianos in Makati. Beethoven Festival 2020 is a celebration of the 25oth birth anniversary of Ludwig Van Beethoven. Once a month from February to May, a cross-section view on the different genres of Beethoven’s music will be presented, namely: Chamber music on February 22 Concertos on March 28 Solo Piano on April 18 Sole opera “Fidelio” in Chamber form on May 30.
