{"id":9947,"date":"2016-11-22T14:06:35","date_gmt":"2016-11-22T06:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/?p=9947"},"modified":"2016-11-23T15:56:51","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T07:56:51","slug":"philippines-ranked-13th-in-the-english-proficiency-index-epi-worldwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/2016\/11\/22\/philippines-ranked-13th-in-the-english-proficiency-index-epi-worldwide\/","title":{"rendered":"Philippines rank 13th in the English Proficiency Index (EPI) worldwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Philippines made it to the top 15 countries worldwide with the best non-native English speakers in the world, as released by an international education company, Education First (EF) Ltd., on November 15 (Tuesday).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to EF, its EPI ranking was based on test data from more than 950,000 adults who took the an online English tests in 2015.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> While Philippines got the 13th rank, Malaysia has landed on the 12th rank in the sixth edition of the EF EPI ranking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>B<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">oth the Philippines and Malaysia were tagged with a high English-proficiency level.
