It\u2019s been going around for a while, but Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon<\/strong>, the latest title from the hit gaming franchise Pok\u00e9mon, is less than 2 weeks away! Get your Nintendo 3DS in gear for the Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon <\/strong>release on November 18!<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon takes place in the Alola Region, a group of four islands where both endemic and foreign Pok\u00e9mon have thrived for many generations. It includes new features and hundreds of new Pok\u00e9mon, along with old ones sporting new forms called \u201cAlola Forms\u201d.<\/p>\n

One of the features unique to Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon is the Island Challenge Trial, a replacement for the classic gym leader battles seen in previous games in the series. Island Challenge Trials involve challenging the island Kahuna, picked by the island\u2019s protector Pok\u00e9mon called a Tapu: the guardian diety of .<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a new way of battling in Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon: Battle Royal! The Pok\u00e9mon franchise has always featured one-on-one or two-on-two trainer battles, but never a full-on battle pitting one trainer against multiple trainers all at once! It\u2019s every trainer for himself\/herself!<\/p>\n

Another feature unique to Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon is the introduction of Z-Moves. It\u2019s a special move that harnesses the trainer\u2019s and Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s full power. It requires special items called a Z-Ring and Z-Crystals for it to work, with each Pok\u00e9mon type having access to a certain Z-Move.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon also happen to be the only games without a waiting Pok\u00e9mon League, though it already has its location: at the summit of Alola\u2019s highest peak. The biggest challenge waiting for trainers in Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon: the Battle Tree, where certain strong opponents from the Kanto Region await!<\/p>\n
