World Bank (WB)<\/a>, the Philippines placed 4 notches higher in its 2017 Ease of Doing Business Report by ranking 99th from its previous 103rd position out of 190 countries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9010\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/10\/doing-business.jpg\" Protecting Minority Investors, Dealing with Construction Permits, Paying Taxes, and Enforcing Contracts.<\/p>\n<p>In a report published by the <a href=\"http:\/\/business.inquirer.net\/217500\/ph-climbs-4-notches-in-doing-business-report\">Manila Bulletin<\/a>, the National Competitive Council said that \u201camong the reforms introduced this year in the Philippines were the extent of corporate transparency index, increasing the transparency of building regulations, and the introduction of an online system for filing and paying health contributions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Doing Business\u00a0project provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 190 economies and selected cities at the sub
