Image by Jun Robles Lana on Instagram, grabbed via sg.yahoo.com<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Director Jun Lana who has already competed in Tokyo in 2013 for \u201cBarber\u2019s Tales, (where actress Eugene Domingo won the best actress award)\u201d will once again compete with \u201cDie Beautiful\u201d starring TV host and make-up transformation expert Paolo Ballesteros, who portrays the role of a transgender beauty queen. This is also Ballesteros\u2019 launching film and this will be screened for the main competition category of the festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to Inquirer\u2019s report, Lav Diaz\u2019s eight-hour film \u201cHele sa Hiwagang Hapis\u201d (Lullaby to a Sorrowful Mystery) will be in Tokyo\u2019s World Focus Section while Cinemalaya 2016 entry \u201cI America\u201d by Ivan Andrew Payawal and Mikhail Red\u2019s \u201cBirdshot\u201d will be featured in the Asian Future section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Renowned director Brillante Ma.
