(Screengrabbed from <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MakeItMakati\"><em>@MakeItMakati<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">No details were given other than saying Makati Public Safety Department (MAPSA) enforcers will be provided with lapel cameras in their bid to promote transparency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Back in August, Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay told the Makati City Development Council about how difficult it was \u201cto rely on the testimony of either the enforcer or the apprehended motorist.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u201cThus, we are tapping technology so that incidents involving MAPSA personnel can be well-documented,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Apart from lapel cameras, she also said she was intent on improving the image of the city\u2019s traffic enforcers, who have been featured more than once on social media because of their rude behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u201cOur MAPSA enforcers are set for a make-over and reimaging, being frontliners of the city government.
