(Image by Philippine News Agency, grabbed from their Facebook page)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to a press release from DOLE, Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III said that DOLE Hotline 1349 is their \u201cdepartment\u2019s contribution to ensure prompt and efficient government services to our workers.\u201d He added that the 24\/7 hotline service is meant to improve and strengthen employment promotion and respond to other labor-related inquiries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">It\u2019s also in line with the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for government agencies to ensure that any questions or concerns of the public be immediately acted upon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">DOLE Hotline 1349 will cater to local and overseas employment inquiries, employee\u2019s rights and benefits, working conditions, wages, labor relations, and post-employment issues among others. All you need to do is call 1-800-8888-1349 for domestic calls and 800-8888-1349 for international calls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The call center, which is housed at the 4th floor of the DOLE Building in Muralla St., Intramuros, Manila, is equipped with all the necessary facilities and will be manned by at 10 DOLE officers who are knowledgeable enough to efficiently assist clients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The DOLE Hotline will be working on three 8-hour shifts per day, starting at 6:00 am. Hotline officers are required to provide anyone who calls with the necessary information.
