Photo grabbed from ffemagazine.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The local government of Taguig City now accepts cashless payments in the form of credit cards and debit cards in paying business taxes, permits, licenses, and other fees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0According to an <em>Inquirer.net<\/em> report, this new system is being implemented for two weeks now after the issuance of City Council Resolution 102-2015 which authorized Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano to enter into an agreement with Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) to allow electronic payment system such as credit and debit transactions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u201cWe owe it to our taxpayers to make it convenient for them to pay taxes and fees. The technology is already there so why not maximize its use,\u201d said Mayor Cayetano in a statement last Wednesday.
