(Image grabbed from valenzuela.gov.ph)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to a report by CNN Philippines, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Information and Technology (DICT), have signed an agreement that mandates them to cut down business permit and licensing system in all cities and municipalities.\u00a0 According to Trade secretary Ramon Lopez, \u201cWe don&#8217;t want to make it difficult for people. Their business is not in lining up.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Compared to the current system where entrepreneurs should submit requirements to different units such as the government, barangay, and also to get safety certificate, the new system will only require them to approach the city hall. Then, they city hall will be the one to handle all these necessary requirements.
