The Bureau of Immigration (BI)<\/strong> has released its official advisory on the conduct of the 2026 Annual Report<\/strong>, reminding all registered foreign nationals in the Philippines to comply with the mandatory reporting requirement within the prescribed period.<\/p>\n

Pursuant to Section 10 of Republic Act No. 562<\/strong>, as amended, also known as the Alien Registration Act of 1950<\/em>, all registered aliens are required to report within the first sixty (60) days of every calendar year<\/strong>, specifically from January 1, 2026, until March 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Annual Report is a statutory obligation and forms part of the government\u2019s efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date immigration records.<\/p>\n

For 2026, the Bureau of Immigration will implement both in-person and virtual annual reporting options<\/strong> to ensure accessibility and convenience for foreign nationals holding valid visas.<\/p>\n

The in-person Annual Report<\/strong> for the BI Main Office will be conducted at Robinsons Place Manila, 3rd Level, Center Atrium (near Robinsons Food Court)<\/strong>, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays<\/strong>, excluding holidays.<\/p>\n

Applicants are required to complete the online registration in advance through the BI e-Services portal<\/a> <\/strong>and present a valid Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR I-Card or paper-based ACR), a valid passport, and the official receipt from the previous year\u2019s Annual Report fee.<\/p>\n

In addition, a virtual Annual Report<\/strong> will be available 24\/7<\/strong>, including weekends and holidays, for registered foreign nationals physically present in the Philippines during the reporting period. Annual reportees availing of the virtual option must register via the BI e-Services system and settle the corresponding fees through authorized payment channels.<\/p>\n

The Bureau further reminds all departing registered foreign nationals<\/strong> that payment of the Annual Report is required prior to the issuance of the Emigration Clearance Certificate-B (ECC-B)<\/strong>, in accordance with existing immigration regulations.<\/p>\n

Failure to comply with the Annual Report requirement may result in administrative fines or other penalties as provided under the law.<\/p>\n
