I ended up going back to Boracay Island again \ud83c\udf34(I just can\u2019t help myself when I have a long vacation \ud83d\ude1d) I made some new discoveries on the island, so I\u2019d love to share them with you \u2728<\/span><\/p>\n

How I Got to Boracay<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u203b<\/span>Once again, I was able to go through the same route without being charged as a foreigner and paid the local rates. If you think you look confident enough to pass as a local, give it a try \ud83d\ude06<\/span><\/p>\n

Henna Tattoos<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the things I enjoy the most when I visit Boracay is getting a henna tattoo \u2728This time, since there was a movie shoot, I asked for it in a less noticeable spot \ud83c\udfa5 (Don\u2019t worry, it fades away in two weeks \ud83d\ude0a)<\/span><\/p>\n

I always get one to boost my resort vibe \ud83d\ude02\ud83c\udf34 My fianc\u00e9 got a Filipino fast-food henna tattoo \ud83c\udf54\ud83c\udf5f (Jollibee, McDonald’s, Andoks \u2013 which has delicious chicken \ud83c\udf57)<\/span><\/p>\n

Coconut Ice Cream<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to desserts in Boracay, you can’t miss Cocomama \ud83e\udee3<\/span>
\nI ate it every day before heading back to the hotel \ud83c\udf70\u2728\u2728<\/span><\/p>\n

They have a few locations, but this one is especially nice \ud83c\udfdd\ufe0f<\/span>

Main Activity on the Island<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I finally got to try parasailing, something I\u2019ve been curious about for a while \ud83e\ude82 As I walked along the beach, many guys offered their services, so I asked three and went with the cheapest option \ud83d\udcb8<\/span><\/p>\n

I timed it for sunset, and it was incredible to see the entire view of Boracay \ud83c\udf05 They even let me borrow a 360-degree camera, and it was Php 1,500 per person for 15 minutes \ud83d\udcf8! It was 3,000 pesos for two people \ud83d\udcb0 If you visit, I highly recommend you try this activity \u2013 it\u2019s the best one by far! \ud83c\udf1f<\/span><\/p>\n

Dinner at Sirena Seafood Restaurant<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The last time I was in Boracay, I dined at a restaurant in Shangri-La Boracay, and it was so good! The food, scenery, service, and even the live band made it such a memorable experience \ud83c\udfb6<\/span><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to stay at the hotel to eat at the restaurant \ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f<\/span>

Found a Romantic Restaurant by the Beach<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

While I was strolling along the beach, enjoying the sunset, I discovered a lovely restaurant \ud83c\udf05 The entrance had fresh seafood on display, and you could choose what you want, then they\u2019d cook it for you at the live kitchen \ud83c\udf64\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f<\/span><\/p>\n

I really loved the atmosphere and service, but my favorite part was when the children of the restaurant sang for us\ud83c\udfb6<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIt seemed like they were raising funds to support the kids \ud83d\udc96 (I probably visited on Christmas Eve \ud83c\udf84)<\/span>

Puka Beach and Maui<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When I go to Boracay, there’s one place I always visit \u2013 Puka Beach, located on the northern side of the island \ud83c\udfd6\ufe0f I met Maui at Puka Beach five years ago, and he\u2019s been my tour guide ever since \ud83d\udeb6\u200d\u2642\ufe0f(If you visit Puka Beach, look out for Maui! \ud83d\udc40)<\/span><\/p>\n

I always talk about Maui but forgot to take a picture with him \ud83d\ude02 However, his look totally matches his personality, so you\u2019ll definitely recognize him \ud83d\ude06<\/span><\/p>\n

This time, he took me to a cave \ud83d\udd75\ufe0f\u200d\u2642\ufe0f The photographers at Puka Beach are great at taking pictures with smartphones \ud83d\udcf8\u2728 Here\u2019s a shot from the cave \ud83e\udd87 Since Puka Beach isn\u2019t crowded, it\u2019s the perfect chill spot aside from private hotel beaches \ud83c\udf0a<\/span><\/p>\n
