The Miss Supranational 2024 pageant has just wrapped up, and it\u2019s been a whirlwind of excitement, keeping me incredibly busy! I apologize for the delay, but, above all, thank you so much for your continued support and for being part of this amazing journey with me! \ud83d\udc97<\/span><\/p>\n

Pageant Results<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been following me on Facebook and Instagram, you probably already know, but I made it into the TOP 24 at the world pageant! <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Honestly, right after the competition, I felt a bit disappointed, but all your encouraging messages really lifted my spirits. \ud83d\udc97 Despite some crazy, unexpected challenges before the pageant, I made it through, and I\u2019m proud of myself for that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two Major Hiccups Before the Pageant<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Sadly, I faced two major hiccups right before the pageant.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first was a serious case of eye redness just three days before the event\u2014something I\u2019d never experienced before. When I went to the hospital, the doctor said a blood vessel in my eye had burst. \ud83d\ude31\ud83d\udca6 I thought it would heal in a day, but they said it could take up to two weeks. I was devastated, thinking of all the hard work, preparation, and support I had received, and I couldn\u2019t stop crying.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The second mishap happened just three hours before the pageant during rehearsal. I was stung by a giant hornet on my knee! The sting felt like a gunshot, and I collapsed from the shock. Thankfully, a doctor treated me right away, and after some medication, I was able to walk on stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pain lingered the whole time\u2014every brush of my skirt against my knee felt unbearable! Funny enough, it was Miss Romania who came to my rescue\u00a0 after I got stung. She literally rushed over without hesitation and sucked the venom out of my knee! It\u2019s something we laugh about now, but in that moment, she may have saved my life!\u00a0 A huge thank you to Miss Romania for being my hero that day!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From Yana to Yuki<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Up until now, I\u2019ve been using my stage name, YANA SONODA<\/em>. However, I had to use my real name, YUKI SONODA<\/em>, for the pageant since only real names are allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now that my real name is out there and some fans are getting confused, I\u2019ve decided to officially go by <\/span>YUKI SONODA<\/em> from here on out. Please continue supporting the new and improved me! \ud83c\udf38\u2728<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s Next for Me<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

This is my final pageant! I\u2019m so grateful for all your support throughout this journey! Moving forward, I\u2019ll be focusing solely on my acting career. \ud83c\udfad\ud83c\udfac I have some exciting news about my next role soon, so please stay tuned!<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon her return to Philippines in March 2022, Yana Sonoda was unstoppable in reaching her full potential. The young actress appeared in various prestigious events in the country and took on lead roles in notable films. As the industry continues to recognize her talents, Yana was given the title, \u201cBreakthrough Artist of the Year\u201d, proving her growing prominence and impact in the entertainment scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, Yana signs with VIVA Artists Agency, Philippines\u2019 top talent management agency, adding a new chapter to her flourishing career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
