Slice tofu into bite-size pieces. Drain excess water on a paper towel.<br \/>\n2. Coat the sliced tofu with flour, and fry them in a pot.<br \/>\n3. Saut\u00e9 chopped onion, leeks, and tomatoes in sesame oil. Add the soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar, then simmer for a few minutes.<br \/>\n4. Drizzle the sauce on the fried tofu. Serve.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Tofu Stir-fry<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39743\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/05\/rsz_tofu-stir-fry.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>IMAGE from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delish.com\/cooking\/recipe-ideas\/a26090091\/tofu-stir-fry-recipe\/\">Delish<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n14 oz firm tofu<br \/>\n1 tbsp soy sauce<br \/>\n1 tbsp sesame oil<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp black pepper, ground<br \/>\n2 tbsp cornstarch<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stir-fry:<\/strong><br \/>\n3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, divided<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 tbsp ginger, minced<br \/>\n8 oz string beans, trimmed<br \/>\n2 small carrots, sliced<br \/>\n1 small head broccoli, cut into florets<br \/>\n1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced<br \/>\n2 green onions, thinly sliced<br \/>\nsalt to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sauce:<\/strong><br \/>\n2 tbsp soy sauce<br \/>\n2 tsp sesame oil<br \/>\n1\/4 cup water<br \/>\n2 tbsp brown sugar<br \/>\n2 tsp cornstarch<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking directions:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Simmer tofu in salted boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let drain in a colander lined with paper towels. When cool enough to handle, gently squeeze and pat dry.<br \/>\n2. Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces, then toss together with soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper in a medium bowl. Once the liquids are absorbed, toss the tofu with cornstarch.<br \/>\n3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat,\u00a0 put 2 tablespoons oil. Add tofu and let cook until golden on all sides, turning occasionally, 7 to 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove from skillet and set aside.<br \/>\n4. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil and add in garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant. Add string beans, carrots, broccoli, red pepper, and green onions. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender. Season with salt and pepper.<br \/>\n5. Stir together soy sauce, sesame oil, water, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Return the tofu to skillet and add sauce mixture to pan. In a medium bowl, mix Hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes together.<br \/>\n2. Slice tofu into bite-sized pieces. Place in bowl with the sauce mixture and toss to coat. Let sit for 30 minutes.<br \/>\n3. Heat olive oil in a cast iron pan over medium heat. Once hot, add tofu. Once seared on the bottom, flip over. And then repeat.<br \/>\n4. Drizzle with sesame oil and remove from heat.<br \/>\n5.
