This hotline shall be used nationwide for connection with emergency response resources such as when it comes to disasters like \u201cfire, typhoon, earthquake, landslides, tsunami, flood, terrorist attack, hazardous material emergencies, civil disturbance, riot control, search and rescue, vehicular accident, and other emergencies.\u201d The making of this hotline was patterned to Davao\u2019s 911 which President Duterte spearheaded when he was the then city mayor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Also read: <a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/2016\/07\/12\/911-emergency-8888-complaint-hotlines-to-be-launched-in-ph-this-august\/\" target=\"_blank\">911 emergency, 8888 complaint hotlines to be launched in PH this August<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The video was made for a turnover ceremony of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Batch of 469 New BFP trucks distributed to different regions on February 19 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle with former President Aquino III, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento, and DILG Undersecretary for Public Safety Atty.
