On March 4, 2024, at its newly opened One Ayala branch, the restaurant was presented with the prestigious Restaurants from Spain certification. This award, bestowed by the Government of Spain, highlights Manduca’s uncompromising commitment to uphold the standards, quality, and authenticity of their offerings.<\/p>\n

The accolade was awarded by Spanish Embassy representative Silvia Torices de la Varga presented the accolade to Chef Amado Garcia Fernandez and his Manduca Taberna team, marking a recognition of their efforts to bring authentic Spanish flavors to the Philippines. It underscores the restaurant’s success in creating an environment where diners can enjoy the true Madrile\u00f1o food.<\/p>\n

When asked about what the award means to Manduca Taberna, co-founder Michelle Fernandez shared that she and the whole team are ecstatic and deeply honored for the recognition, and will continue to do their very best in bringing authentic Spanish dining experiences to the country.<\/p>\n

“We’re very proud of Manduca Taberna for being the first restaurant in the Philippines to receive [the Silver Seal] certification,” she added.<\/p>\n
