On October 4, Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler announced the results of its annual Readers\u2019 Choice Awards with The Okura Tokyo recognized as the second place in the top hotel category in Japan and the first in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

More than 240,000 Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot of the top places they enjoyed this year and can\u2019t wait to return to next. The Readers\u2019 Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and the full list of winners can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Okura Fitness & Spa operated by The Okura Tokyo was selected as the \u201cTop Spa of Japan\u201d at the Crystal Award 2022, which decides the top spas in Japan.<\/p>\n

Okura Fitness & Spa, which opened in 2019, has been named a \u201cTop 10 Spa of Japan\u201d at the Crystal Award every year since 2020, and has earned the top honor in its third year of operation.<\/p>\n

The Crystal Award is the only spa award in Japan co-sponsored by Spa & Wellness Japan and Conceptasia Management and Consulting Ltd. Spa users and spa journalists cast their votes for the \u201cTop 10 Spa of Japan\u201d from among roughly 130 spas selected by industry experts throughout the country, with the spa receiving the most votes earning the 1st place and the title of \u201cTop Spa of Japan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Located on the 27th floor of The Okura Prestige Tower, Okura Fitness & Spa boasts a total of seven treatment rooms that offer panoramic views of the Tokyo cityscape. Five different facial and body courses are available, based on the philosophy of the \u201cFive Elements\u201d, an ancient Eastern philosophy that everything is made up of five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Okura Fitness & Spa is also the first spa in Japan to offer ANNAYAKE, which combines Japanese and Western ideas and features products derived from natural ingredients.<\/p>\n

Opened in September 2019, The Okura Tokyo<\/strong><\/a> is the Okura Group\u2019s flagship luxury brand hotel. The hotel consists of two buildings: The Okura Heritage Wing, a 17-story tower enveloped in an air of elegance and tranquility, and The Okura Prestige Tower, a 41-story tower that meets modern-day needs for dynamism and functionality while also maintaining a uniquely Japanese accent.<\/p>\n
