This phone-based hotline shall be used for crisis support for depression and suicide prevention. This will also serve as a \u201cportal to link people with deep emotional crisis to mental health professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, and other concerned institutions\u201d which can help them with their needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">HOPELINE will be facilitated by trained \u201ccrisis responders\u201d who shall answer the calls and give the support and information needed. These responders shall also provide suicide safety plan for people with suicidal tendencies.
