The 4 level mall\u2019s history dates back to 1950 where it was before the Rockwell Thermal Plant that was hit with a fire in the 1970s, after the countless protests that rose against the plant\u2019s re-opening the owners converted it to a commercial district and eventually a mall that they named after the thermal company\u2019s first president James Chapman Rockwell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The mall\u2019s interior is comprised of both modern and classic architecture as the main mall gives a classic look with thin pillars with intricate details in the structure while the other phases give out a modern look with its glossy floors and big round columns. Rockwell also houses Rustan\u2019s Marketplace, Six screen Power Plant cinema, Chapel, Dining Services and three levels of basement parking, complete with valet and clean car service.
