The Department of Transportation (DOTr) MRT-3 has extended its MRT-3 FREE RIDE program until June 30, following its continuous success since March 2022.<\/p>\n

Due to positive feedback from commuters, the DOTr MRT-3 decided to extend the FREE RIDE program to help the public in the midst of rising fuel prices and inflation.<\/p>\n

The FREE RIDE program started on March 28 until April 30, but was extended until May 31.<\/p>\n

According to MRT-3 OIC-General Manager and Director for Operations Michael J. Capati,<\/strong> the MRT-3 has served a total of 15,730,872 passengers under the FREE RIDE program<\/strong>, with 315,334 passengers taking the MRT-3 on average during weekdays since it was launched.<\/p>\n

The FREE RIDE program will remain available to all passengers who will take the MRT-3 anytime between the rail line\u2019s operating hours from 4:40 a.m. and 10:10 p.m.<\/p>\n

The MRT-3 rehabilitation project was launched in 2019 to restore the rail transport system to its original, high-grade condition.<\/p>\n
