And with the current technology that we have, hopefully, more and more bus companies will use this system,&#8221; Galvez said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">AF Payments CEO and President Peter Maher hopes that the use of beep\u2122 cards will be adopted by other bus operators, saying that their plan is to have everyone in the city use the beep\u2122 card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The beep\u2122 card is a tap and go system devised by AF Payments, Inc. that used to be limited to LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3. It went under a limited public trial last week. Fares remain at P12 per ride.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">beep\u2122 cards can be purchased and reloaded at any of the LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3 railway stations, as well as the BGC Bus Station in Makati. They cost P20 each and can be reloaded up to a maximum of P10,000, and are valid for 4 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You can also reload your beep\u2122 card at select Bayad Center outlets.
