Metro Rail Transit 3 trains will be closed temporarily from April 13 to 17, 2022 in observance of Holy Week 2022.<\/p>\n

In a Facebook post of the Department of Transportation-MRT3, the said suspension is to give way to the line’s annual preventive maintenance activities. They added that the normal operations will resume on April 18, 2022.<\/p>\n

In addition, the MRT-3 department holds a booster vaccination today for all its 440 employees along with their dependents to ensure the safety and security of its operation.<\/p>\n

DOTr is expecting a surge of commuters as many people are slowly getting back to their work offices under Alert Level 1.<\/p>\n

On March 14, 2022, DOTr MRT-3 served 247,745 passengers and recorded which is the highest count since the resumption of its operations in June 2020.<\/p>\n
