The procession starts with the <em>pahalik<\/em> after which the Black Nazarene will be paraded around the Quiapo District and returned to the church.<\/p>\n<p>Officials reminded devotees they can still send their petitions through prayers.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the NTF requested the Manila Police District and the Joint Task Force COVID Shield to deploy security personnel to stop the Catholic faithful from gathering around the Quiapo Church.<\/p>\n<p>Today Jan 5, the DOH has reported 10,775 new COVID-19, almost double the number of new cases yesterday at 5,434.
