Among the artists performing in the musical series are Arthur Espiritu, Cesar Montano, Gian Magdangal, Harry Santos, Lara Maigue, Mariel Ilusorio, Nerissa De Juan, iconic OPM band Orange and Lemons, who will also be sharing songs from their upcoming\u00a0Kundiman<\/i>-inspired album, and the world-renowned Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. The performances will be aired, starting September 25 at the CCP Office of the President Facebook page.<\/a> The succeeding episodes will air every Saturday, 6 p.m. until December.<\/p>\n

20th PEL\u00cdCULA-Spanish Film Festival (Oct 1-10)<\/h3>\n

The Spanish Film Festival Pelicula <\/strong>is celebrating it\u2019s 20th year online by presenting twenty titles accessible for free to all Filipinos, Malaysians, Thais, and Australians to a selection of contemporary Spanish and Latin American movies. The Instituto Cervantes de Manila will be showcasing a total of 20 films\u20144 short films and 16 contemporary Spanish and Latin American feature films\u2014for you to enjoy. Philippine Butoh Online Workshop Series 2021 ( Oct 8 – Dec 10)<\/h3>\n

This is an online movement workshop series that intends to reintroduce the Japanese Butoh dance in the Philippines and integrate it with Philippine indigenous wisdom and ritualistic practices. Six international Japanese Butoh artists from Japan, Germany and Italy will share their artistic practice and will be collaborating with co-facilitator, Sasa Cabalquinto, in integrating a Butoh exercise into the context of a \u201cFilipino body.\u201d The series will run from Oct 8 – Dec 10 via Zoom.<\/p>\n

Local theater and dance companies, independent and collective groups of contemporary dance artists, student organizations, and other enthusiasts from the Philippines can participate in the event for FREE<\/strong><\/a>, while international participants<\/a> may join on a donation-basis.<\/p>\n
