It\u2019s also the time when God\u2019s revelation in Qur\u2019an is finally completed. The Ramadan is associated with lunar cycles, which is why when the moon was sighted in Malaysia, according to Mufti Abu Huraira Udasan of Darul Ifta House of Opinion of Maguindanao and Cotabato, it was known that the Ramadan will now officially start.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In this event, followers of the Islamic religion will be fasting from dawn until dusk for 29 to 30 days. This fasting through abstinence includes food, drink, and marital sex. Muslims also do extra prayers and worship during this time. Some people, however, are exempted from fasting. These people are those who are pregnant, elders, and those suffering from diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ramadan will continue until Thursday, July 7.
