Power from the solar plant will be used exclusively by the mall, cutting its carbon emissions by 2.25 million kilograms \u2013 equivalent to planting 100,000 trees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to RLC President Frederick Go, \u201cThe sprawling design of Robinsons Starmills and the wide open surrounding space make it ideal for a large scale solar power facility.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">He also said RLC \u201cis continuously looking for ways to adopt sustainable practices and minimize its carbon footprint by steadily shifting to the use of renewable energy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">RLC now has two rooftop solar plants in the province of Pampanga; the first one is located at Robinsons Angeles. Other Robinsons malls to get rooftop solar plants are located in Palawan, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Roxas, Antique, Novaliches, Tacloban, and Bacolod.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The 10 malls combined will have a total capacity of 12.5 MW.
