{"id":60439,"date":"2021-05-06T12:00:02","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T04:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/?p=60439"},"modified":"2021-05-06T11:46:41","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T03:46:41","slug":"spanish-embassy-presents-guitarras-del-mundo-an-online-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/2021\/05\/06\/spanish-embassy-presents-guitarras-del-mundo-an-online-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish Embassy Presents: Guitarras del mundo, an Online Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Embassy of Spain in the Philippines<\/strong> will be hosting <strong>Guitarras del mundo<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(World Guitars)<\/strong>\u00a0to commemorate the quincentennial anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-60440\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/05\/worldguitar.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/05\/worldguitar.jpg 678w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/05\/worldguitar-212x300.jpg 212w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px\" \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">IMAGE from Spanish Embassy in Manila Facebook page<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It will be broadcasted on <strong>Friday, May 7, at 5 p.m<\/strong>., through different social media channels, namely, the Facebook accounts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EmbSpainManila\/\">Embassy of Spain<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nhcp1933\/\">National Historical Commission of the Philippines<\/a>. \u201cGuitarras del Mundo\u201d will be performed by guitarists <strong>Francisco Bernier<\/strong> and <strong>Antonio Duro<\/strong>, from Seville Guitar Duo, and the Filipino classical guitarist <strong>Adrik Cristobal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The first circumnavigation of the world not only resulted in a trade and maritime connection between Asia, America and Europe through the Galleon of Manila but also in the creation of a profound cultural bridge between the three continents. Music is perhaps one of the best example of the new world of sounds that this connection brought.
