Trikosko via Wikimedia Commons<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In a press briefing held on Monday, May 23, Duterte said he will allow the burial of the late dictator \u201cnot because he is a hero but because he was a Filipino soldier, period.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">He added that the issue with the Marcos patriarch\u2019s burial has created division amongst Filipinos.
