A one-meter physical distance on all sides will also be imposed. It\u00a0also\u00a0permits the operation of libraries, archives, museums, and cultural centers at 50% capacity in GCQ areas, and 75% in MGCQ areas. It will have morning sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0 However, the National Planetarium will remain closed until further announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Note that only those 15- to 65-years-old would be allowed access, while a maximum of 5 persons per group would be permitted to enter, and they would only\u00a0allow a maximum of 100 visitors per session.<\/p>\n<p>Interested\u00a0visitors are required <strong>to book online on NMP\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalmuseum.gov.ph\/\">website<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>before visiting the museum due to the safety precautions\u00a0imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<h3>Intramuros\u00a0Administration prepares for Lent<\/h3>\n<p>Intramuros\u00a0Administration (IA) chief\u00a0Guiller Asido\u00a0said Intramuros is\u00a0currently\u00a0in talks with stakeholders to\u00a0create additional measures for the Lenten season and the possible reopening of more churches inside.<\/p>\n<p with record-breaking 1 million visitors in 2019, during which 9 churches and chapels were opened to the public.\u00a0Other options are being entertained as well, like having\u00a0\u201cOnline\u00a0<em>Visita\u00a0Iglesia<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Department of Tourism\u00a0<strong>Bernadette Romulo-Puyat\u00a0<\/strong>expressed her confidence that Intramuros is ready and prepared for the new phase of tourism, especially this coming Lenten season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntramuros is ready and prepared for its reopening following the easing of quarantine restrictions and the minimum health and safety standards set for parks, plazas, open spaces, heritage sites, and museums,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are required to register their launch\u00a0Lent tour packages to boost tourism<\/h3>\n<p>The provincial government of Cebu will\u00a0launch Holy Week tour packages\u00a0as a way of\u00a0revitalizing\u00a0its tourism industry, the Capitol announced on March 3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-59386\" planned and will be launched before the Holy Week from March 28 to April 3.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia stated that they have partnered with private tour operators and other tourism industry players, noting that airlines are also joining\u00a0for this project.<\/p>\n<p>This plan was incepted after the provincial government further relaxed entry requirements for tourists visiting Cebu.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the latest executive order that Garcia issued, only a valid medical certificate and proof of pre-booking at a resort or hotel within the province are required from tourists entering Cebu.<\/p>\n<p>The governor\u00a0had also issued executive orders requiring mandatory health guidelines for tourism activities such as canyoneering, whale-shark watching, trekking, swimming, and diving, to prevent further spread of COVID-19 while revitalizing the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Cebu is the first province in the country to take decisive steps to revive the\u00a0tourism sector since August 2020.<\/p>\n<hr
