The school year will have a total of 202 school days, which includes the five-day in-service training break.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">For Christmas break, it shall start on December 22, 2016 and classes will resume on January 2, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As stated in the D.O. 23, s. 2016, private schools may deviate from the calendar, just as long as it does not start earlier than the first Monday of June 2016 and not later than the last day of August.
