{"id":58568,"date":"2021-01-24T11:00:07","date_gmt":"2021-01-24T03:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/?p=58568"},"modified":"2022-05-16T17:43:36","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T09:43:36","slug":"dpwh-to-build-cruise-ship-terminal-in-albay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/2021\/01\/24\/dpwh-to-build-cruise-ship-terminal-in-albay\/","title":{"rendered":"DPWH to Build Cruise Ship Terminal in Albay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)<\/strong>\u00a0will soon build an international cruise ship terminal in <strong>Albay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-58573\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/01\/rsz_dpwh-bicol.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/01\/rsz_dpwh-bicol.jpg 800w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/01\/rsz_dpwh-bicol-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2021\/01\/rsz_dpwh-bicol-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>IMAGE from DPWH Region V Facebook page<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once\u00a0the national government transfers an initial amount of Php 150 million to <strong>DPWH Region V<\/strong>,\u00a0the construction of the project will start right away.<\/p>\n<p>DPWH-Bicol regional director <strong>Virgilio Eduarte<\/strong> said in an interview that they are just waiting for\u00a0Sunwest Construction Development Corporation to submit some documents before\u00a0the agency issues a\u00a0notice to proceed (NTP) to start the construction of the project.\u00a0Eduarte added that it will be built along the Legazpi City boulevard that is adjacent to the Sawangan Park, a recently-built tourist spot\u00a0attracting hundreds of visitors every day.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate interview, Mayor <strong>Noel E.
