Motorists can now enjoy\u00a0travel faster in Metro Manila, thanks to the newly\u00a0opened Skyway 3\u00a0\u00a0last week.<\/p>\n

Ramon Ang<\/strong>, the president\u00a0and the chief\u00a0operating\u00a0officer (COO)\u00a0of San Miguel Corporation, is glad to share the good news.\u00a0“This engineering solution was conceptualized and implemented to address space constraints. Indeed, we can do great things together,” he said.<\/p>\n

The double-decker portion of our Skyway 3 \u2014 from Plaza Dilao to Tomas Claudio bridge in Pandacan, Manila – is a collaboration of all Filipinos, from engineers to construction personal. Other sections of Skyway 3 is located at Araneta and Roosevelt avenue.<\/p>\n

In his\u00a0Facebook post, he\u00a0announced that\u00a0all access points and seven lanes in select areas will be available to motorists starting January 15\u00a0 and it will be toll-free until February\u00a01. Taking this opportunity to thank everyone for this project that is\u00a0“proudly built by Filipinos for Filipinos.”<\/p>\n

“I celebrate this special day with a full heart, knowing that we have delivered another game-changing project that will make a difference in the lives of so many Filipinos for many generations to come. With the official opening of our 18-km Skyway Stage 3, traffic in Metro Manila will be significantly reduced,” he said.<\/p>\n

“It will no longer rob our kababayan <\/em>(fellow Filipinos)\u00a0of precious quality time with their families. After bridging the north and south of the Metro, we will begin work next month to realize another dream: to link Manila and Rizal in the east and eventually provide seamless land travel on all four corners of Metro Manila. Thank you to all our partner-stakeholders past and present, and to the Duterte Administration for the unwavering support in helping us deliver this vital infrastructure project,” he ended.<\/p>\n
