After weeks of community quarantine, ArtInformal<\/strong> has announced the reopening of their Makati and Greenhills<\/strong> galleries.<\/p>\n

Located at The Alley at Karrivin Plaza, their Makati gallery will open on July 24<\/strong> with\u00a0the group exhibition 3C26<\/strong>, curated by Stephanie Frondoso<\/strong>. In the ground floor gallery is a solo presentation by Robert Langenegger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition 3C26 was planned pre-pandemic; the title is Artinformal\u2019s booth number for its presentation for Art Basel Hong Kong 2020\u2014one of the first major art fairs that physically shuttered due to COVID-19 and promptly migrated to a virtual viewing platform.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Greenhills gallery reopens its doors the week after starting with the anniversary exhibition of ArtInformal’s 16th year, simply titled 16<\/strong><\/em>, curated by Angel Velasco Shaw<\/strong>.\"\"<\/p>\n

Seven artists from different generations were asked one seemingly simple question\u2014What does the number 16 mean to you? An onset of self-reflexive queries followed on its heels. Over the course of one year, each artist delved into their own archaeological site of personal and public memory, mathematical and creative intuition, and artistic play. Meditations on their respective oeuvre served as their catalysts.<\/p>\n

For the health and safety of their staff and guests, walk-ins are not allowed<\/strong> in the galleries for the meantime. ArtInformal requests visitors to make an appointment before coming to the gallery and they will be required to keep their masks on during their stay.\u00a0You may schedule your appointment via info@artinformal.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ArtInformal galleries\u00a0in Makati and Greenhills will be\u00a0open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/strong>, until further notice.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,\u00a0Artinformal<\/span>‘s first exclusively online exhibition, Becoming Trees<\/a><\/strong>, is still available to view. This\u00a0special group exhibition presents the thoughts of thirteen artists, as expressed in their own words and in their\u00a0art<\/span>,\u00a0as they have become rooted in one place in recent\u00a0months.<\/p>\n
