ZALORA Philippines, Asia\u2019s online fashion hub, recently launched the first ever ZALORA Style Awards<\/strong> to recognize personalities that gave tremendous change in the fashion industry at the Valkyrie, The Palace Pool Club on Thursday (April 7).

It aims to recognize local talents for their achievements with its five awards namely Fashion Designer of the Year, Fashion Game Changer of the Year, Male and Female Style Star of the Year and Fashion Stylist of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn celebration of ZALORA Philippines\u2019 fourth anniversary, we are proud to host our first ever ZALORA Style Awards to honour the country\u2019s key players in fashion,\u201d said Paulo Campos, ZALORA Philippines co-founder and CEO. \u201cWe at ZALORA Philippines believe that fashion is a great enabler and we are committed to strengthening the local fashion community and supporting the next generation of fashion talents through events like the ZALORA Style Awards.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

For the first year of ZALORA Style Awards, which was hosted by model Patti Grandidge, Mark Bumgarner was awarded Fashion Designer of the Year, while Martine Cajucom was awarded for Fashion Game-Changer of the Year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vince Uy was named the Male Style Star of the Year, and actress and \u201cIt\u201d girl Janine Gutierrez clinched the Female Style Star of the Year. Meanwhile, Qurator by Pam Quinones won Fashion Stylist of the Year. Her team also styled ZALORA models as they showcased top brands in the event\u2019s catwalk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Former Preview Magazine Editor-in-Chief Pauline Suaco Juan, SoFA Design Institute Founder and Executive Director Amina Aranaz-Alunan, Philippine Star Y Style and SUPREME Creative Director David Milan, and MEGAstyle.ph Editor-in-Chief and MEGA Magazine Managing Director Sarah Santiago led the Board of Judges together with ZALORA Philippines executives: Gigi Mabanta, Head of Buying, Regine King, Head of Marketing, and Vince Flores, Head of Public Relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the ZALORA Style Awards, the fashion online destination also launched this month the Make Me a ZALORA Model, where they will search in Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n
