Galvante on the 5th of December 2019.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lto.cdmpao\/photos\/a.1589028444448324\/3889017204449425\/?type=3&#038;theater<\/p>\n<p>The Memorandum Circular No. 2019-2176 has the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To establish an accreditation system that ensures the compliance of driving schools and centers with the prescribed driver education standards.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the uniformity of the driver education course components.<\/li>\n<li>To raise the standard of instruction, develop safety consciousness, and positive driving attitudes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Also read: <a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/2019\/07\/25\/lto-implements-new-point-system-for-drivers-license-renewal\/\" target=\"_blank\">LTO Implements New Point System for Driver\u2019s License Renewal<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As per the memorandum, all applicants of the said permit will have to undergo a 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course under the LTO or any of its accredited agencies and driving schools. A permit will only be issued upon the completion of the course and it should be completed within two years from the start of the course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/12\/edsa-traffic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51580\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/12\/edsa-traffic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/12\/edsa-traffic.jpg 800w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/12\/edsa-traffic-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/12\/edsa-traffic-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The said course will have three sessions and a practical driving course\u00a0that will tackle topics such as an introduction to driving, road and traffic rules, land transportation laws, as well as LTO Core Applications (Driver&#8217;s Licensing System, Vehicle Registration, and Law Enforcement and Ticketing Systems).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As stated, the course will take 15 hours to complete with each of its sessions lasting for five hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The practical course, on the other hand, will tackle everything from starting the car to night driving before a review where the students shall be tested in different situations.
