The next time you think of testing the speed limit of your car on a public highway, you might want to consider these racetracks around the country instead.\u00a0From motoring racetracks to go-kart\u00a0tracks, we have listed down the available tracks you can race to your heart’s content!<\/p>\n

Clark International Speedway<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the most eventful racetracks near Manila, the Clark International Speedway<\/strong>\u00a0(CIS)<\/strong> regularly hosts both 2 and 4 wheeled races throughout the year.\u00a0Some of the races held here include the Philippine GT Championship,\u00a0Toyota Vios Cup, and National Drag Racing Championship.<\/p>\n

The full course is 4.189 km long and has 18 turns in a counterclockwise direction. The circuit can be split into 2 short courses: West Course with 1.960 km with 12 turns and the East Course of 1.900 km with 8 turns. The CIS main straight can also be used as a drag strip with\u00a0970 meters.<\/p>\n

Batangas Racing Circuit<\/h3>\n

Another eventful racetrack is the Batangas Racing Circuit\u00a0<\/strong>which has hosted races such as the\u00a0Philippine Touring Car Championship,\u00a0Philippine Superbike Championship, and the Philippine Formula Toyota Cup.<\/p>\n

The full course is 3.700 km with 14 turns on a clockwise direction. The short course is 2.800 km while the go-kart track is 2.000 km. The speedway also includes a dragstrip.<\/p>\n

Tarlac Circuit Hill<\/h3>\n

An ideal race track for motorcycles, the Tarlac Circuit Hill\u00a0<\/strong>is currently the track used for motorcycle sports and even the Team Spirit Riders Championships and Clinics for the youth. The 1.500 km permanent circuit\u00a0has a full course of 15 turns, clockwise.<\/p>\n

The Carmona Race Track<\/strong> is a 1.090 km permanent circuit with 9 turns, clockwise. The track includes four alternative configurations with circuit distances ranging from 750 meters to 1 km. The track accepts go-kart and motorcycle races.<\/p>\n

Clark Kart Track<\/h3>\n

A small kart track beside the main track of the CIS is open for go-karts and motorcycles. With 13 turns, the\u00a0Clark Kart Track<\/strong> opened just\u00a0in 2019 and has already hosted the\u00a0IAME Series Asia as well as the\u00a0Petron Motorsports Karting Academy that trains young karters!<\/p>\n

Circuit Makati<\/h3>\n

With the popularity of\u00a0city kart racing, Circuit Makati<\/strong> opened its own tracks with a 600-meter course with enough safety measures even for children to try their hand at kart racing.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Pradera Verde Racing Circuit<\/strong> in Lubao Laguna\u00a0which has been in\u00a0development\u00a0since\u00a02018 is set to open early 2020 and is expected to get an\u00a0International Automobile Federation (FIA) Grade 2 Certification so it could hold international races except for Formula One.<\/p>\n

Remember this list the next time you think of racing on public streets. There are also several street circuits, public roads temporarily closed off for races, such as roads in SM Mall of Asia, Fort Bonifacio, and Alabang Filinvest.<\/p>\n
