This section is composed of the subway&#8217;s first stations in Quezon City and Valenzuela City.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51816\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/01\/MMPS02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/01\/MMPS02.jpg 800w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/01\/MMPS02-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/01\/MMPS02-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A ceremony to formalize the beginning of the subway&#8217;s construction was held last December 21, 2019\u00a0at the depot site in Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City where the subway&#8217;s East Valenzuela Station will rise. Said ceremony was led by\u00a0DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Part of the ceremony was the\u00a0distribution of checks and signing of contracts between affected landowners for the right-of-way acquisition for the project.
