The Christmas tree of New World Makati Hotel was lit up on a special night last November 26<\/strong>, joined by distinguished hotel executives and guests. The event was also graced by the SOLV Children’s Choir<\/strong> of the Servants of the Lord’s Vineyard Foundation, the beneficiary of the proceeds from the hotel’s holiday promotions.<\/p>\n

The lighting of the Christmas tree also marks the 25th year or the silver anniversary of the hotel in Makati. Aptly, the Christmas tree is hung with bright silver ornaments, with touches of gold.<\/p>\n

“Looking back 25 years… I’ve seen how the hotel has changed, has grown from New World Renaissance to now New World Makati Hotel,” shares Director of Sales and Marketing, Jann Delgado.<\/p>\n

Rosewood Hotel Group Regional VP and New World Makati Hotel General Manager Marcel Van Mierlo was also present and expressed his optimism about the coming new year.<\/p>\n

The lighting ceremony was also joined by Makati Mayor Abby Binay and the family of Filipino TV personality Pia Guanio-Mago, who was the host of the event.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s even brighter than the lit Christmas tree is the hope that will shine anew for the homeless children in Barangay Palanan, Makati, cared for by the SOLV Foundation. They will benefit from the many holiday promotions New World Makati is offering in December\u2014the hotel\u2019s way of sharing its success with the city that has been its home for 25 years.<\/p>\n
