This is the 4th time that the country will be hosting the biennial event since it first participated in 1977.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-50747 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2019\/11\/Countdown-3-e1574834304339.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"563\" \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Countdown to SEA Games 2019 \/ IMAGE SEA Games 2019 website<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">An opening ceremony on <strong>November 30, 2019<\/strong> at the <strong>Philippine Arena<\/strong> in <strong>Bocauae, Bulacan<\/strong> will mark the start of the SEA Games 2019, which will run until <strong>December 11<\/strong>. Rates start at<strong> Php 1,000<\/strong> for general admission.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Countries<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participating countries include <strong>Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste<\/strong>, and <strong>Vietnam<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/2019seagamesph\/videos\/2787076711342523\/<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the official website of the Philippines SEA Games, an estimate of <strong>8,500<\/strong> athletes and team officials are expected to take part in the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Sports<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">There are <strong>56 sports<\/strong> to be played in this year&#8217;s SEA Games amounting to <strong>530 games<\/strong>. These are categorized into three: Compulsory Sports, Olympic and Asian Games Sports, and Regional and New Sports.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/2019seagamesph\/videos\/2909366855740172\/<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Under the <strong>Compulsory Sports<\/strong> are the Athletics and Aquatics events, while <strong>Olympic and Asian Games Sports<\/strong> mostly feature team, combat, and individual sports that are also played in other sporting events in the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <strong>Regional and New Sports<\/strong>, on the other hand, include sports that are popular in the SEA region that are not yet considered as Olympic sports like netball and kickboxing. Ocampo (both bound directions)<\/li>\n<li>Along P.
