Known as one of the top tourist spots in the world, <\/span>Boracay Island<\/b> once again reigned as the <\/span>Best Island in Asia<\/b> for 2019<\/strong> in Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler\u2019s annual readers\u2019 survey.<\/span><\/p>\n

CNT described the Boracay island as \u201cthe itty-bitty island (just under four square miles) in the Western Philippines as close to a tropical idyll as you\u2019ll find in Southeast Asia, with gentle coastlines and made-for-Instagram sunsets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A record of 600,000 registered voters weighed in on the 32nd annual readers\u2019 survey where Boracay island has reclaimed its glory after its 6-month rehabilitation last October 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The luxury and lifestyle travel magazine also took notice of Boracay\u2019s White Beach, pointing out its powdery white sand and shallow azure water perfect for tourists who are into swimming and snorkeling.<\/p>\n

Two other Philippine islands made it to the top 5 Best Island in Asia\u2014Cebu & Visayan Islands ranking second, and Palawan in fourth place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Penang Island in Malaysia claimed the 3rd place and Bali in Indonesia placed 5th in the list.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Best Island survey featured 30 islands in the world, which were divided into regions\u2014Asia, Australia\u00a0& the South Pacific, Caribbean\u00a0& the Atlantic, Europe, North America, and Africa\u00a0& the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n
