Saudi Arabia<\/strong> recently launched the new tourist electronic visa, marking the first time\u00a0that\u00a0the country\u00a0has allowed foreign citizens to visit the kingdom.<\/p>\n

Tourism chief Ahmed al-Khateeb pointed out that it is the first time in their history that Saudi Arabia will\u00a0open its doors to tourists.<\/p>\n

Tourists from 49 countries are eligible to get online e-visas and visas on their arrival. These countries include\u00a0 the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors will be astonished by the natural treasures of the kingdom, featuring the enriching culture and beauty of its heritage.<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabi features several breathtaking attractions including the five UNESCO World Heritage Sites, King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Dhahran, and mountains of Asir.<\/p>\n

“Saudi Arabia is opening. We are opening our economy. We are opening our society. Now we open our home and open our hearts to guests from around the world. Come, visit Saudi. And let us welcome you to Arabia,” he said during his speech in\u00a0Riyadh\u2019s Diriyah.<\/p>\n

Promoting tourism is one of the primary goals\u00a0of the Vision 2030 to further expand Saudi Arabia’s economy and reduce its reliance on the oil industry. This program seeks to improve the service sectors by reflecting on the strengths and capabilities of the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
