S\u00e4ntis Delicatessen<\/b>\u00a0brought the<\/span>\u00a0owner and brand ambassador of Olmeda Origenes <\/span>Jes\u00fas Pel\u00e1ez<\/b>\u00a0to\u00a0select branches for an in-store food and wine tasting from <\/span>September 9 to 14, 2019<\/b>\u2014in conjunction with their Taste of Spain promo.<\/p>\n

S\u00e4ntis Delicatessen\u2019s food tasting event features <\/span>Olmeda Origenes, <\/b>a Spanish deli brand that supplies a wide variety of food from Spain, which exudes exceptional quality at reasonable prices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olmeda Origenes<\/b><\/h3>\n

The concept of Olmeda came from Jes\u00fas Pel\u00e1ez\u2019s hometown\u2014<\/span>Olmeda de las Fuentes<\/span><\/i>, a small village in Madrid, Spain where good quality Spanish products came from. <\/span><\/p>\n

They are a known supplier of traditional Spanish food like cured hams, cold meat, artisan cheeses, canned fish, seasonings and spices, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quick Spanish delights at S\u00e4ntis<\/b><\/h3>\n

Pel\u00e1ez showed various ways of preparing and presenting all the Olmeda products while discussing each product to the customers. He made use of Olmeda\u2019s prime products such as ham, cheese, anchovies, sardines, and Spanish seasonings.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Manchego cheese drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and paprika to taste<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the meat products showcased in the food tasting were<\/span> Iberico Chorizo de Bellotta (Php 2,856\/kg)<\/b>, <\/span>Fuet Catalan (Php 2,992\/kg)<\/b>, and\u00a0<\/span>Chorizo del Pueblo (Php 541).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The main highlight<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>was Jamon Serrano bone-in (Php 2,144\/kg),<\/b> which is included in S\u00e4ntis\u2019 Taste of Spain raffle promo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Cured hams and cold cuts: Iberico Chorizo de Bellotta, Fuet Catalan, Chorizo del Pueblo, and Jamon Serrano Bone-in<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

For the cheese selection, they have the <\/span>Mahon (Php 2,584\/kg)<\/b> and <\/span>San Simon da Costa (Php 2,047\/kg)<\/b>, which are among the new Olmeda products available in S\u00e4ntis. <\/span><\/p>\n

There was also the famous <\/span>Manchego (Php 2,108\/kg) <\/b>cheese<\/span> named after one of the fictional characters of Spanish poet Miguel Cervantes\u2019 Don Quixote novel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other products used in the food tasting were Vinagre de Jerez (Sherry Vinegar), Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Manzanilla Olive, and Mojo Ayanato Red Spicy Sauce.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, two Spanish wines were featured during the in-store wine tasting, including Marqu\u00e9s de la Concordia\u2019s Rioja Tempranillo red wine <\/strong>and Vega-Reina Verdejo white wine.\u00a0<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Both are available in discounted prices until September 15 only.<\/span><\/p>\n
